Sarah Palin today announced that she will be stepping down as Governor of Alaska. Her reason was that she was pursuing other interests. Many people have accused her of bailing out on the people of Alaska which she was sworn in to serve.

Karl Malden was a great actor and he played some major parts in his long acting career. I enjoyed many movies that he made. My favorite was when he was with Burt Lancaster in the Birdman of Alcatraz. I think out of all of his accomplishments the one I admire the most is that he was married for 71 years to his wife.
